This isn't really a political work, I just like DJ Afrojack, but it is in a propaganda style. This was commissioned as a gift for him from a friend. It was a fun work to do.

First I made a red background. Red is a key color for defining authority.

Then I made a rough outline of Afrojack's face, and started on the pants, and allowed the layer to dry.

Then I came back with another layer and other deatails. He is holding cards now, and I outlined the Grammy to commeorate his win. He likes playing poker, but I thought any plays on the "jack" in his name would be too cliche. He looks like something out of a James Bond movie now.
